Fitting Terms & Conditions
Please read these fitting terms and conditions carefully before using Our Service.
1. Removal of furniture
Please ensure rooms are clear of all furniture prior to the fitter’s arrival. We do offer a furniture removal service which there are additional charges for and can be pre booked at time of order.
2.. Old floor coverings & Additional costs
Please ensure old floor coverings are removed from the areas being fitted. If you wish for our fitters to provide this service there is additional costs involved for both uplifting and disposal of the old materials and can be pre booked at time of order.
3. Home Responsibilities and Claims
All our fitters are fully insured and carry the relevant public liability required. However, should breakables and electrical items be left by the customer in the rooms they are working in then no responsibility will be taken by the fitter should a claim be raised
4. Additional Responsibilities
It’s the customers responsibility to show our fitters PRIOR to starting any shallow pipes or electrical cables within the area they are working. Should any instances happen where the pipes or cables are not fitted to the correct specification the fitter will take no responsibility unless the customer has made them aware prior. Paints and glossed skirtings should be allowed to dry a minimum of 4 days prior to fitting.
5. Bookings and arrival times
Fitting days are pre booked in advance. Whilst we try to honour all fitting days as arranged from time-to-time things happen out of our control and we will endeavour to resolve the situation as quickly as possible. We don’t offer arrival times for fittings they are all day calls.
6. Cancellations
If customer cancels a fitting within 48 hours of appointment, there will be a £45 surcharge incurred to cover the cost of the fitters.
